Sincere apologies for not cleaning the scanner prior to
scanning this letter...
911 would not let me borrow their $159 scanner.
The Senator's office "thought" they had sent me a copy of this back in
January however
things being the way they are in government, it got lost. I received
this on 12 April 2006
and 3 months have gone by with NO CHANGE in the
equipment end of 911, even though
the Senator has offered to HELP find ways for
911 to find money for the additional
equipment needed to reduce the RADIO DEAD SPOTS
in the Ligonier PA area.
What is happening is that Richard Matason has
hi-jacked money that is suppose to go
to the Westmoreland Co. HAZMAT Team and other areas in order to finance his
plan on purchasing a NEW Communications Van, even though they
DO NOT USE the
One They Have ALREADY !
For more information on this and the continuing
MANAGEMENT FLAWS of this
911 Center, keep up to date by reading the Blah-g,
Westmoreland County's
TRUE SOURCE for accurate information as told to the Blah-ger
by our First Responders,
Government Employees AND 911 Dispatchers (thanks for all
the tips),.
Thanks also to Senator Bob Regola for his IMMEDIATE ATTENTION investigating
this problem. He has no power over our Westmoreland County
Commissioners in
this matter, however the Senator attempted to meet with the Commissioners
with hopes of at least getting to the root of our MAJOR PROBLEMS.
THE WESTMORELAND CO. COMMISSIONERS FLAT
OUT REFUSED TO MEET
WITH SENATOR BOB REGOLA OVER THIS OR ANY OTHER ISSUE.
It would appear as if the
Westmoreland Co. PA Commissioners do not give
A DAMN about the Police, Fire or Medics in this county - and they continue
to
PROVE THAT FACT DAILY.
