AUDIO CONTROL
part of K3SAM.COM
Below is an example of the recording equipment used to record not only CD's and TV audio, but scanner radio communications, voice audio, amateur radio transmissions, etc..
Each volume control has two inputs. The switch above the sliding pots control or switch between the two. So this is a four channel audio mixer by name with the ability to control up to 8 items plus two microphones. It also has a fading control and some sound effects that are only used when I forget to take my pills. Each of the four inputs and microphones pots have adjustments for bass, mid range and high.
The output of this is split. The audio not only goes to a high output amplifier, it also goes to the input of my computer for recording everything digitally, to a set of dual cassette recorders, and to a low power radio transmitter that I can monitor from anywhere within and around the United House of Mine.
This is just a simple SSM-1750 mixer that can be purchased at almost any Radio Shack Store.
