350 FOOT CROWN COMMUNICATION TOWER - GREENSBURG
This tower is part of Westmoreland County's System.
(at least that is what I've been told)
Has Been There For A Few Years However Antennas Have Been Added.
Note the smaller cellular tower next to it.
Located Close To US Route 30 - Mount Oden / Greengate.

911 Tower Site - Latrobe

This is a confirmed 911 tower location.  During inspection I found that 911 is
relying on the Verizon Telephone Company to relay tower communications as
evidence of T1 or possibly T3 service drops are seen.  I also found that there is
only one electrical power transformer on the pole right outside of the building,
911 might consider calling Allegheny Power and have them install another one
for backup in case this one gets hit by a lightning strike.
(I know this site has complete backup - generators installed but two service entrances are better.)
After seeing the site, I believe that the last 911 system CRASH was due to a
T1 or T3 Line being down or possibly an equipment failure after the lightning
strike, or both.  The CRASH affected the area in the western half of
Westmoreland County, Pa.

At this time I would like to report to you that only GMan, TopGun from D5 PD and Myself own digital cameras,
or at least it would appear that way.  Well, at least the film is cheap !

Only photos of antennas and buildings, no human beings allowed.  Other interesting photos also considered including vehicle communication installations.
